You know, it'd be nice if he got specific for once. "A problem". What kind of problem? What glitch, exactly, makes people able to communicate with us across time and space? Why can't we do this on a regular basis?

[Her voice is just dripping with disdain, now.] Should I even assume he knows?

[She takes a moment, reigns in the jagged aggravation.]

I'm Artemis. In my world, we go to Gotham Academy together. There's school uniforms, it's terrible, you should be glad you got to skip that.

[You were also a lot less in a wheelchair but at least she has the tact to keep that herself.]

Huh. I went to Gotham Heights. [An apologetic smile.] That's probably why I don't remember. [She knows she would, otherwise.]

No kidding? That's where I grew up. I went to Gotham North until I got a scholarship to the fancy school and ended up transferring.

Pretty sure the you from my world never even stepped into Gotham Heights, though.

[She's pretty sure she likes this version better, there's a lot lower chance she'll be egged in the parking lot because of that one freshman taking pictures of her.]
