TLV 8 - video
[Private to Iris]
[It's a rare thing, for Barbara to look shy. Rarer still for her to make false starts, even if they're barely perceptible. Finally, she settles on something completely off the topic at hand.]
Think you could teach me that hypnotism trick?
[Private separately to Steph, Chris, and Rex]
How are you doing?
[Private to Cass]
[There would be absolutely no point in hiding the excitement in her smile.]
Could you come see me?

Re: [video/oh yeah private/mwahahaa battrolling]
Hey there, gorgeous.
[If she sees the doubt, she doesn't show it. Iris' room is like a girly magpie's nest; it's tidier than usual since Lua's brief stay, but the drifts of paperbacks, cosmetic jars, perfume bottles, unidentifiable bits of technology, scribbled notes and sketches and letters would take a multitude of Luas ten years to make much impact on. Still, the thick-piled dusk-pink carpet is more visible than usual. The room's dominated by the enormous four-poster bed with its white tiger-fur bedspread, and the Daliesque painting featuring a nude, younger Iris in a fantasy landscape of glass men, wheeled dragons and giant mechanical bees that overlooks it. The hot tub is in its own little alcove, and its steam scents the whole suite with jasmine.]

Hey yourself.
[Iris' room is - it's not surprising in the least, actually. It's so different from hers, clutter and colour and chaos, but in a comforting sort of way. Delighted laughter falls from her lips when she sees the painting.
And then her brow furrows, as she peers at it.]
Is that a DalĂ?
