[Well she's just gonna kind of run to see you then Barbara. She would even if there wasn't presents in her immediate future after everything that happened, plus she just tends to miss her a lot.

So there's knocking in a few minutes, then Cass waiting patiently to be let in.]

[Barbara's already undone the locks, so the door swings open almost as soon as Cass knocks.]

[Cass just smiles and hugs Barbara right away.]

[ She just sighs. ]

I'm taking that vacation.

[Her chest aches with understanding, and she wishes she could just - make it all go away. But it doesn't work like that, so she only nods.]

Good. Know where you're going?

Dunno. Africa, probably. Maybe Hawaii. Kon could just fly us.

[ She's reached a dull sort of peace since the incident. She's happy enough to joke around about silly stuff, but all over people want to talk about Tosh, about what happened, about how they feel about it and what they should do.

Steph's still not in a place to be making any of those sorts of decisions. ]

I think she'll love him. [She's never met Crystal, but what mother wouldn't love a man who treats their daughter like Kon does?]

I mean... [He chuckles ruefully; even for him, that was pretty paranoid. Which he's okay with, in general, but she was fair to him. She warned him about the spyware in advance, and he scoured the hell out of the machine once it was turned off and didn't find any bonus surprises.] You don't need it back?
